The Shepherd

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. he makes me to lie down in green pastures; He lead me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake." Psalm 23: 1-3 Daily restoration for a weary soul is a major human need. The key to God's provision for restoring one's soul is the presence of God. This awesome thought causes us to pause and look heavenward to Praise! "For You meet him with the blessings of goodness; You set a crown of pure gold upon His head." Psalm 21:3 We really don't have to look far to be refreshed and receive an unexpected blessing. Recently, in our travel over the weekend on the Georgia Coast, we happened upon this beautiful and refreshing prayer garden and couldn't believe in the middle of what seemed like nowhere, Believers had taken the time to cultivate a beautiful place for anyone to come and meet with the Lord! We paused to think upon what really matters in life and to offer prayers for family and friends that have needs. Praise and prayer bring us into the very presence of God. His presence will take up residence in our lives! He can be trusted with the needs you might have today! Just trust Him.....He loves you! As the mighty warrior Joshua said in Joshua 1:9 "....for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." May you go into a green pasture.........and be courageous!
